Formal/Prom

The Junior class and sponsors are in charge of prom.

All Juniors and Seniors who are current on class dues are invited to prom.

In the past, we have allowed out of town guest and graduates from the previous year, but this is subject to change.

If tickets are used for prom, they are given when the students RSVP to the Junior sponsor. You don’t have to pay for a ticket if you are a Hamlin student and are current on class dues and participated in ALL fundraising. Out of town guest pay $20 when they turn in their permission slip to the office. Those slips are picked up from the office or the Junior sponsor.

Prom is usually held any where from March to May depending on when they can get it scheduled around other events.

Class dues are set up by each class. They are usually set freshman year and carry over throughout all four years.

*Class sponsors are assigned by the HS Principal. It is typical for the same staff member to stay with the assigned grade all four years. .

*There is usually a parent meeting at the beginning of each school year where fundraising and homecoming float are discussed. Parents are in charge of helping the class build the float.
